Products-Electrodes PIOXCEL BIC-LC negative electrode (lower stage)

Since our inception, we have offered a range of positive and negative electrodes available in both A4 sheet formats and rolls with a 10 cm coating width.
Our product lineup features various capacity grades for each electrode type; designed around a "set sales" concept, these products allow for the easy
assembly of cells by combining positive and negative electrodes, offering the flexibility to meet diverse customer needs.
We invite you to consider purchasing our A4-sized sets, available in packs of three or six. We also accept orders for custom-made electrodes
tailored to your specific requirements, so please feel free to contact us.

Moving away from cobalt is essential for the next-generation rechargeable batteries used in EVs, given the scale of their consumption.
Iron phosphate-based active materials are attracting significant attention in this regard; however, they typically require operating
temperatures of up to 60°C to ensure stable performance. Our ion-conductive binder offers exceptional low-temperature characteristics,
promising stable operation at room temperature. In particular, the use of this highly conductive binder paves the way for room-temperature
LFP electrode cells. We invite you to try it out.

Various electrodes with ion-conducting binder specifications are available.
                               Close-packed porous electrode structure
An electrode possessing the structure and performance to provide functional control over sheet resistance for next-generation lithium-ion batteries.

This electrode excels in applications involving high-voltage, high-capacity, and solid-state electrolyte lithium-ion batteries.
We hope this will be useful for your company's next-generation LIB cell development.

Electrode formulated with a highly conductive binder

We offer various electrodes manufactured using the highlyconductive binderwe have developed.
The formation of a film by interfacial coating on active material particles suppresses interfacial oxidative degradation of
high-nickel active materials (NCM811) and significantly reducing grain boundary resistance in the fabrication of
bulk electrodes incorporating solid electrolytes it has become possible.
Please utilize our highly conductive binder to impart the specific functionality needed to control particle interfaces
such as those of active materials in accordance with your company's application requirements.
If you specify the active materials, we can undertake contract manufacturing using our proprietary electrode production formulations.

                                                      PIOXCEL BIC-LC electrode
Conductive polymer-treated lithium metal foil jointly developed by our company and the Commonwealth
Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) of Australia.
The copper-foil-laminated negative electrode (PIOXCEL BIC-LC negative electrode) is an innovative material
that represents a major step toward the practical application of lithium-metal secondary batteries (LMB).
It has become a matter of technology development.
With a high capacity of 3,860 mAh/g, lithium metal holds great promise as the anode material for the ultimate lithium-ion secondary battery.
While high hopes are placed on it, numerous methods are being explored to overcome its weaknesses namely, dendrite formation,
low Coulombic efficiency, and safety concerns universities and research institutions have taken on this challenge,
but three major weaknesses remain such as the inability to improve Coulombic efficiency even when dendrite formation is suppressed.
For the past few years, there has been underlying skepticism regarding the development of practical technologies
that use lithium metal for the Anode electrode.
By achieving the goal of overcoming these three major weaknesses a result of our joint development with CSIRO
we were able to take a significant first step toward the practical application of LMB cells.
